Do you want more self worth, to feel better about yourself and to really take care of yourself?

So many times we judge our own self worth by comparing ourselves to others or even to what we believe to be true in the media. When we perceive that we don’t measure up, we are hard on ourselves and pick ourselves apart.  Everyone of us is unique and different. Why do we try to all be the same or aspire to become something that we are not? It only sets us up for failure, disappointment and pain. It starts within ourselves. Love yourself.

1. Acknowledgment Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself how special, beautiful and just right you are. Do this every day until you start to really believe it.

2. Selfish Selfish is not a bad word. You have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. Take time to do things that bring you joy.

3. Connection Take time to connect to spirit or your higher self. Either meditate, pray, journal or just be. You need to be in touch with your heart.

It starts within. Unless you start to love and believe in yourself, you won’t be all that you are. It only dims your inner light when you doubt who you are.
