Love is one of the most powerful things there is. Love between two lovers, a parent and a child, friends, sisters, brothers… Love can propel us into action for the other person. It ignites us to put the other person first. With love we do things to take care of, celebrate and support another. Love is powerful.
When you come from a place of pure love, so much more is possible. You can let go of judgement, resentment, fear and so much more. Love is about being open to experiencing the other person exactly for who they are and loving all of them. When you come from that place, you can harness the power of love!
5 Ways to Harness the Power of Love
- come from a place of pure love
- look for the light in others
- connect with what is really important
- keep an open heart
- connect your heart to pure joy
When you harness the power of love, the unimportant things fall aside. The stories, the uncertainty and the lack of connection slowly fade away. When you connect with another in pure love, accept them for who they are, how they show up and without judgement, there is more connection, kindness and joy.
When you harness the power of love, you allow room for others to do the same.
Beautiful post. I would add — love yourself and let the abundance within you overflow into the hearts of others. xoxo
Yes! Love yourself is first! Great notice! I did not put that in the list.
This made me smile because I am on the couch recovering from dental surgery of earlier today. My husband has been bringing me the ice pack I have to put on and take off every 10 minutes. I told him I could do it himself but he told me it made him happy to do it for me. And, he’s making me a special (soft) dinner. What love!
That is love! May you heal quickly and how blessed you two are to have each other!
This is a beautiful post, Michelle. I love the 5 points you bring up (plus the one you didn’t bring up, which is to love yourself), as your first commenter suggested. I particularly like the one about connecting with what is really important. Too often, we focus on the negative and that suffocates love. Look for the good things and let go of the unimportant stuff. Thanks for sharing. It was an enjoyable read. 😉
Hi Michelle,
This is a very heartfelt post. I love the quote about the differences between a man and a women’s role. It’s not who does what, it’s just a conversation of how love should be. Awesome post Michelle!
Love is the answer!!! What a beautiful post Michelle! And I love that song!!
I love this post and the compassion and the meaning written into these words. Keep up the good work.
I loved this post. Sometimes it’s hard to let go of judgement and love someone just as they are. It take strength of mind.
Very nice! Now the puzzlement is: how to keep all these areas in balance?
It’s not always easy, especially when people are acting hatefully, but that’s when you have to dig deep.
Some brilliant tips here!
I love the song “The Power of Love” 🙂
Tear drops fell when I read the post…my heart leaped…LOVE IS POWER!
Thank you for letting me know it touched your heart. Love is power!
Beautiful..
