The theme of today was about having faith. Trusting that if you are following your path, your purpose and doing your personal growth work, that the things you need will show up.

I saw one of my clients today. She gets so excited every time we meet. I get love hearing how her week has gone with the new tools she is learning. We have been working on her gratitude practice and letting go of unnecessary fear. She is paying close attention to how she reacts to things and what her triggers are for her fear. She has made great progress. Today she told me a story that shows me that she has really integrated the practice and is now teaching her husband.

I asked how her husband was because I knew he was struggling at his job because he had an unethical boss. He is in the construction business and was asked to do things that  he felt was wrong. So he informed his boss that he was looking for a new job and would let him know when he found one. The good news is a few weeks later he did find a new job, in fact he started it today.

He informed his boss last week that Tuesday would be his last day. The boss acknowledged the conversation. Yesterday, knowing that it was the husbands last day and that the boss had him on the schedule for today, the coworker reminded the boss. This triggered the boss to call the husband cursing him out and saying awful things. The boss was so rude and loud that the husband had to hold the phone away from his ear. My client could clearly hear the yelling.

The boss informed the husband that he would never work for him ever again. The husband quietly said "Thank You" and hung up.

My client has been doing a gratitude practice and knew that by being grateful that her husband had a job, he would find a better one. She had faith that he would be taken care of. She told me that every day she included her husband with her and they would do the gratitudes together. They both started letting the fear of the unknown go and had faith that if they continued to work hard and be in a place of gratitude that they would be rewarded.

The husband told her he was grateful that  he was free from working for someone so unethical and mean. He was free, did not go into fear.  He had faith.

She stood there with tears in my eyes as she told me the story. It made me cry also. She then told me how grateful she and her husband were that I came into their lives. I have never met the husband. I told her how grateful I was that I could witness her changes and her joy.

So yes, today was about faith. Trusting your purpose and your journey while doing the work. It was indeed a wonderful day.
