I am wanting change. I am frustrated, overwhelmed, can’t get to where I want to be and my goals seem so far off that they are almost impossible. Can you relate to any of that?
As we come to years end, we begin to look at our life, last year’s goals and start to get frustrated that the 40 pounds were not lost yet or that you did not make as much money as hoped. Maybe you are a new empty nester and it is not the way you envisioned it.
At some point we all want change. We want to feel successful, healthy, happy and meet our goals on a regular basis.
There is an ebb and tide to our lives and relationships. Sometimes you feel great, like you are on fire and other times you may feel like everything you do is wrong.
Change starts within and you must really want it for you to be able to create it.
Think of how a crab sheds it’s shell as it grows or a snake it’s skin. That must feel strange to lose part of you. Yet that is what we do when we create change. We let go of the part of us that is not working, the ways of being that hold us back and we step into a more proactive role.
You may want change and actually write out your goals and your big WHY. You get started and then you slide, you might try once again but you slide again. So you lie to yourself and convince yourself that you did not want that anyway, that program did not work or that it was not for you. Then you believe it.
Our minds will believe what we tell them. If we tell them we are too old, ugly, not strong or smart enough, we believe it.
So if you want that change, you better believe it and want it bad. Set achievable goals, get accountability so that you won’t be allowed to lie to yourself or let yourself slide and give up. There is no one quite like you and your goals are yours to achieve. No one can do it for you but we can do it with you.
This is the time of the year to start thinking about how you did this year. Take personal inventory. Journal. Where did you surprise yourself? What did you do that you never thought you would do? What did you let yourself miss out on? What do you want to do differently.
Personally fall is my favorite time for reflexion, planning and creating change.
Now if you are serious, I am running a special program called Uniquely You and am only accepting 5 people to work with for one month. It is an intensive month long program and it has the ability to really change your life in a short amount of time.
I have this program not here on my life coach page but somewhere else because only 5 folks will get to join it and I am selling it for less than you would spend hiring a coach for the month or going on a retreat!
You want change? You want next year to be your year? Check out Uniquely You Program!
