Our lives can get over scheduled, overwhelming, and hectic. This can cause stress, anxiety, and illness. 

I have a simple solution that will bring some of that "spontaneity" back into your life!

There is no need to wait to recharge until the weekend, day off or next vacation.


You need Pockets of Joy during the week!

Pockets of joy help you incorporate a little relaxation and fun back into your busy schedule. 

Here is how it works:

  1. Pull out your schedule for the month.
  2. Block out 3 90-minute spots of time during that month.
  3. Put it in your schedule and label as "Pocket of Joy"

The best way for this to work, is to put these "pockets" somewhere during a busy or hectic time that you are not scheduled.

You have to commit to not taking these pockets out or scheduling something else during that time.

The day before you have a day with a "pocket", you get to decide what you will do for yourself during that 90 minutes.

You can take a class, get a massage, take a hike, play with your kids... the ideas are endless.

The goal is to bring back that feeling of spontaneity back into your life. I know it is not 100% spontaneous. What it does give you is some me time to look forward to!

Just note these pockets are not for catching up on work, taking an extra carpool or for doing a task. They are just for joy!
